After La Fortuna, we headed 5 hours to Tamarindo. The trip would've been faster, but Costa Rica has a 2 lane highway filled will TONS of pot holes and they respect the animals and pedestrians. So we had to stop a lot. The road was very curvy, we had to go around Lake Arenal and up and over a mountain. It was not my favorite part to say the least. But Tamarindo was great! It's one of their many beach cities. So beautiful! I'm warning you now that there's an overload of sunset pics. The sunset was breathtaking! We really enjoyed our hotel. Tarmarindo Diria had beautiful pools, yummy food, and great service. We never had to travel far.
On our way to Tamarindo. We were the only ones on the shuttle, it was nice a roomy. The state has what they call the Interbus. It was part of our package. All we did was show up when and where they told us and they took us where we needed to go. We didn't have to worry about directions. It was great!

We couldn't resis walking the beach. The hotel had its own entrance. It was really nice to get a spot of paradise just for the hotel guests.

We couldn't resist the urge to get some smoothies while we were there. We had some fun different fruits in them, it was yummy!
Will loved scouting out for sea shells. They were so pretty! Unfortunately, the secrutiy at the airport took them all away. We were so bumed out, we wanted to make Christmas presents with them!
This is one of my favorite pictures of the trip! You can really see how much Dallas has popped. I can't wait to see this guy! Considering all we did and how far we traveled, I couldn't have had a better experience. I feel so blessed to have been able to go on this trip!
