I'm thankful for...

People typically see this title around November for Thanksgiving, but I decided that for the month of March, I'm going to post something I'm grateful for everyday. I do have to admit this is a very ambitious goal for me to post everyday, but I will try my best. I think it's always a good thing to put some thought into what you're thankful for. People should do it a little more. So....

Today I'm grateful for the food network


Ever since Will and I have gotten cable, I've been hooked on these cooking shows. Not because I want to become this amazing cook, I honestly haven't really tried any recipes. I love seeing the creativity that comes with cooking and the passion that people put into it. It always seems to make me hungry though...maybe that's why I've gained so much weight lately :( These shows are my top picks though...they're awesome!



These 2 cooks set out trying to teach the worst cooks in America. It was fun seeing people off of the street learning to cook. They improved a ton! Can't wait for next season.

This guy and his crew make amazing cakes! Such creativity it involved! I'd love to take a cake decorating class one day.

This is a show where 4 contestant get together and have 30 min to make either an appetizer, main course, or dessert with 3 secret ingredients. The person with the lowest score gets chopped. It's fun to see all the fun ingredients, most of the time I've never heard of it.

The reason why I'm so grateful for this channel is that there's nothing dirty about it. It's a network that people do what they want to do. There's nothing inappropriate and I don't have to worry about changing it. I also seem to have a better appreciation for food, and I'm grateful for it. So next time you're bored and don't have anything to watch...tune in on Channel 42!
