Isn't this guy adorable! I can't believe it's already been three weeks since this guy has entered the world. In a lot of ways it seems like he's been here forever, in other ways I feel like it's still brand new. This photo was taken during a photo shoot that my mom and I did. I got a nice camera for black friday with photoshop as an early christmas present. So I'm trying it out and still got a lot of things to learn. Anyways, Dallas is sleeping about 3 to 4 hours during the day and about 4 to 5 hours at night. For the most part, he is a content baby but will tell us when he's not happy. After the 3rd attempt, we found out he likes MAM binkies. He likes to be swaddled with at least one of his arms out. If you kiss him on the cheek when he's hungry, he'll move his mouth to yours and give you a kiss (it's really cute). Dallas is already holding his head up pretty good. I'm surprised by how strong he is. You can always tell when he's going #2. His face gets really red and he starts to wiggle. This usually happens in the middle of breastfeeding. If dad's around, he's always game for changing them. I think Dallas' favorite past time besides sleeping would be having his dad read to him. It's really cute to see Will get all excited and to see Dallas chilled out on his lap while he reads, it melts my heart.
Motherhood has been wonderful and challenging. In a lot of ways, it feels natural. Others, I don't know what to do. I still can't beleive that I am a mother half of the time. All in all I'm doing great, and my family is doing great. Life couldn't be any better!
