Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree!

Yesterday, after church, Will and I went to my parents' house and they were decorating their Christmas tree! We couldn't wait to jump in and help them. Its so fun to look at the ornaments and remembering the past and the memories that go with the ornaments. That's what Christmas is all about, making memories and remembering past memories.

Preston

Kiffyn

Dad and Kif

Me and my momma!

The best husband ever! We needed him as he could reach higher then anyone else.

In memory of my sister, Kylee. This is her ornament, she plays the guitar very well. She always seems to have bigger lips when she plays :)

My dad is BIG into scouting. This is his ornament, he had to show it off.

Heath was helping with dinner while we were decorating. When he was done, he refused to help, but i think it was because he didn't want his picture taken.

Will's ancestors are Moravians. This is the Moravian star. It symbolizes the star that the Wise Men used to find baby Jesus. Tradition is to put a Moravian star outside the Sunday after Thanksgiving and take it off the first Sunday of January. It's to represents our journey to come unto Christ. Cool huh?!

We are slacking with no Christmas tree yet. I hope tomorrow to get it up. Also I think we are going to be in the same stake (South Stake). My bishop said that there are 2 wards in Mountains Edge that are part of the South Stake. Plus they are getting ready to break ground in a couple of weeks to build a new chapel out there. Lucky!! Cause our building is far from us and not even in our stake right now. There are 7 wards in LV and 4 wards in Parump that are part of the South Stake. BIG!

I hear you're in the new house! Congrats! We'll be there in just over a week if you need any help unpacking or painting (Doug used to work as a painter, so he's really good!) Can't wait to see you guys again!

Wish we could all be together for Christmas, but Thanksgiving was a blast.
I'm glad to see your family is carrying on some good Andreasen traditions!! We usually do our gingerbread house the first of the month, but Ricky made us promise we'd wait until he got home. Now that he's here, we have to fit all our Christmas traditions into one week!! It'll be a blast! Love this time of year!

You two are amazing! The pics are great and I love ALL of them. Can't wait to see the house in person. It's fun to go to cold games when you've got your love to keep you warm.(See I remember, LOL) Have a great 2010 and know I love you and am so proud of all you've accomplished and continue to do. xoxo G'ma
